The calendar app response is horrible and feels like the screen is frozen, which makes to kill the process and re-launch the app. Didn't have any issues with previous update. Tried re-configuring exchange account multiple times but no luck. Any options to speed up its performance?
Also, are there any fixes to this.

Where is the calendar hosted? Is it on your iPhone or iCloud?
You mention 'exchange account', is this a Microsoft Exchange calendar?

I can reproduce it every time on multiple phones with multiple accounts.
This happens with a Microsoft exchange account's calendar. To reproduce the cal should have many entries on different days.
then just toggle between days and the whole thing is very slow often never refreshing correctly. Does not happen with icloud or google calendar. Only exchange. Have not check hotmail

Yes, same here. It's basically useless - can't use it - it's so slow.
I’m having the same issue since the update. So frustrating since I’m checking that calendar multiple times a day. Please fix!

Yes, me too - spent hours at the Genius Bar. Totally wiped my phone and still effectively no calendar (since it's just so slow) since I updated to iOS 15.1. Please fix!

Not yet. The Genius Bar wiped my phone and I now use another app to access the calendar (so have three separate calendars which is not ideal!)
Got iOS15.2 offered for my iPhone6s.
Installed, Calendar issue fixed!

Don’t have that option on the 13 pro and calendar still sucks - any update here it’s been months
I just looked and this update was available on my 13 Pro, and it fixed the problem. Hopefully your phone will be able to get it soon too.
The calendar is very slow with latest iOS 15.1 iPhone 6s
