Air Drop; copy & paste between laptop & iPhone 13 not working

Hey there,

I just got the new iPhone 13 mini (big upgrade from the 8 I was using before!) I love it, but there are a few functions that either aren't working at all or only work sometimes since getting the new phone. These are features I used to use constantly, both for personal and work reasons (part of my job includes social media).

Copy and pasting something from my laptop into iPhone apps such as iMessage, Instagram, etc-- only "scan text" appears, not "paste." Scan text is a cool feature but doesn't work perfectly (it adds weird spaces, it doesn't let you specify the range if its an excerpt from a longer text).
Air dropping photos from my computer to my phone
I've also had issues with playing videos horizontally (Nike Training Club workouts; Youtube Videos). My screen rotation lock is NOT enabled when this happens.

Any tips? Is this an issue of the link between my laptop and phone? Are these bugs?

When it comes to an issue watching videos, what exactly is happening? Is the video unable to play, or is the video not rotating as expected? Does this happen only in those two apps, or are you noticing within others as well?
