iPhone 13 Pro Max exhibit red tint on one side of the screen (left or right)

Guys, at this time, I am talking about my second iPhone 13 Pro Max which exhibit red tint on the left side of the phone. This issue seem to be visible on the white and gray background, especially under 50% brightness.

I am not quite sure, if I received the defective iPhone or everyone face the similar issue.

Condition to test:

Application: Apple Note App

Brightness: under 50% (Light mode)

you will notice a slight red tint either on the left or on the right

Apple will do nothing about it , OLED screens are great but it's one of the con of this tech , We had the same issue on the 12 pro max.. it was a green tint that was way worse than this issue, i've ordered like 14 Iphone 12 Pro max on the apple store try to find the perfect one, same with the 13 pro max... it doesn't exist, some are worst , where the tint is full on all the screen estate, some are only on the left or / and right and not in the middle ... i stopped exchanging and returning after more than 10 attempts... the iPhone since the 11 with a perfect screen or the Galaxy with a perfect screen doesn't pretty much exist. and most of us are Paying the mobiles for 1700 euros so we expect a perfect phone... but they are not perfect cos the tech isn't . check on the internet how OLED displays are made and you will understand. that is why Apple or Others manufacturers will not do anything about the tint issue.. ( i've enabled color correction on mine to mitigate the issue , i lost a bit of brightness but it's okay ) i do not see the issue anymore.

This is unacceptable and needs to be Rectified, Apples solution for everything is to reset/restart phone or set phone back to factory settings or they will tell you to contact Apple support, sorry Apple but none of these recommendations will fix the particular issue and returning be phone for a new phone also does not solve this you either end up with another phone that’s either the same or worse or better yet it may come with scratched stainless steal sides right out of the box. APPLE FIX THIS!!!!!

I hear you loud and clear. I certainly haven’t got the time or resolve to keep getting replacements since as you quite rightly mentioned only results in milder symptoms at best. Or at worst , the replacement device could exhibit worst results.

It's normal (acceptable), yes, if it was a low to mid-range products. But what we paid for is one of the top-dollar smartphones, it cost a thousand. Then you are happy with a half-red screen on a thousand-dollar smartphone?

i switched to samsung because of this issue. Apparently Apple has a very tolerant quality control.

As consumers and customers we should let them know our dissatisfaction by not buying it and moving towards better quality products.

Do you guys know if the 13 mini has the same issues? I will be giving my 13 Pro Max back (it’s the 3rd one with this issue), and i honestly don’t know what to do now. I was looking at older iphones (8, X, XS) but i don’t know if that makes any sense. I have been using an 11 Pro before (which i don’t have anymore) and I’m starting to miss it.

Got the same issue on my 13 Pro. Red tint on the lower half. My last year 12 Pro got heavy green tint. Disappointed with the iPhone oled quality.

Facing this exact issue when the brightness is below 50%, and it’s always occurring on the right side of the screen. I just upgraded to a brand new iPhone 13 Pro. Disappointed that this is happening.

This « Yellow Tint Gate » is a shame. Photographers and professionals are using those $1K phones ! And any calibration software exist to correct it if all the screens are like this.
