It appears that you're not finding the recent photos you've taken using your old iPhone on your new iPhone. We'd be looking for our photos as well, and we're glad to provide assistance.
Sign in and use iCloud.com - Apple Support -- Sign into iCloud.com then select the Photos app. Are your photos located there?
Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support -- If they are, on your new iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud and make sure Photos is turned on. Depending on the speed of your internet connection and the amount of photos and videos you have in iCloud, it can take some time to sync to your new iPhone. Also, depending on how much storage your new iPhone has, you may want to turn on Optimize Storage under Settings > Photos to save space.
If you weren’t using iCloud Photos, did you create a fresh backup of your old iPhone before migrating to the new one?
