Mac Preview export from multi-page TIFF to PDF bug (new in Monterey?)

I'm pretty certain this wasn't happening before I recently upgraded to Monterey, but if you take a multi-page TIFF file and export it to PDF, the resulting PDF repeats the first page and only the first page multiple times (same number of pages as the original document, but repeats the 1st page). Anyone else see this?

To get around it, goto Export

Format: PDF

Quartz Filter:Grey Tone

Alpha tick

Create PDF/A tick

Create Linearised PDF no tick

(Was desperate so tried everything and this worked)

If you export Format: PDF and use the Quartz Filter: Lightness decrease, and check nothing else, you can preserve color images in that multi-part TIFF export to PDF.

Tested: macOS 12.1.

If one has the optional ImageMagick installed, the following will convert a multi-part TIFF image to an equal number of PDF pages with color images retained:

convert mptiff24nc.tif -density 300x300 -compress jpeg mp.pdf

Also tested on macOS 12.1.
