I cannot upload files with Safari after macOS 12.0.1 update

I updated this morning and I'm now on Monterey Version 12.0.1on my MacBook Air 2020. Since then I've noticed I can't attach/upload images online. For example I wanted to share an image in a Reddit forum that accepted them and then onto a post I was creating on my Patreon page. I have tried activating the Develop window in Safari and ticking "Disable Local File Restrictions" but this hasn't changed anything.

Any advice would be greatly received!

Does anyone have a solution for this issue? I've been experiencing it on Macbook M1 models since the beginning of January. Chrome is up to date, extensions are disabled etc. None of it seems to help, please advise. Thanks.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. The pop-up window to browse files just wasn't opening. Although I remembered it had earlier on after the update so not likely that.

I followed the tried and tested IT Crowd method of turning it off and on and voila, no issue. Fingers crossed that's that sorted.
