I just got an ad on my home screen. Is there anyway to disable this? Why is this even a thing?
You can see here, in my widget, I got an ad:
Apple doesn't mention anything about ad delivery directly to my home screen:

That was it! Indeed, it was a widget that was "suggested" and never really added. I had to bring up that specific widget and remove it. I couldn't remove it from editing the full stack.
