Hi! can I use a USB-A to lightning cable to charge my iPhone 13 pro? I have a 25w power adapter that has a USB-A port in it and I was thinking of instead buying a new adapter that has a USB-C port it in, why not use my old adapted and buy a USB-A to lightning cable instead to save money? Thank y'all!
yep, you can certainly use your old cables & chargers.
although.. if you're planning to buy a new cable just to use your charger..
buying the USB C power supply is the same cost as a cable from Apple

If you're concerned about fast charging, then getting a USB C power supply would be best
yep, makes sense if you have an extra charger lying around and maybe want to have a setup in 2 different places to charge your phone. Just keeping in mind that the USB A one won't charge as fast. (so maybe have the USB A setup by the bed and leave your phone plugged in overnight? charging speed matters less in that case?)
Since the iPhone 13 pro has a cable with it in the box, I will certainly buy the USB-C port adapter. I want to have an extra charger though, so if I can use my old USB-A charger, all I have to buy is a USB-A to lightning cable to charge my iPhone. What do you think?
My concern is will it affect the charging speed?
