iOS 15/15.1 AirPlay Apple TV (A1469) Not working

Hello Apple, I use your product Apple TV (A1469) SW 7.8 (8158) with iphone 11 Pro (iOS15.1).

Both devices are connected to the same internet network. (I tried two home fully functional networks). In none of the cases did the connection via Airplay or Screen Mirroring work as before. I think it's an update to iOS 15 and above. The problem persists please fix it I can't even play music from my mobile through Apple TV. It's frustrating. I also tried to create a Wifi Hotspot from a classic LTE connection and connect to the Hospot network on Apple TV and play music on Apple TV from iPhone. It doesn't work it reports me an error after trying to connect Error (-100). This option worked great until iOS 15. It's frustrating. Thank you

Hi there, I am having the same issue. I took my apple tv to The Apple store today but the Apple TV is too old for them to help me with. what do you mean by localisation, do you mean location services or some thing different? I can’t find the setting in my phone.

Same Prob as I could not found any more my Apple TV as Airplay on my iPhone 13 and also on my MacBook Air. And this is happened when I restored my Apple TV. Apple Tv 3rd Generation (Model:A1469) Airplay issues.

I had the same question. I wonder if he's talking about Find My iPhone. Sounds like a very strange solution to the issue, heh.

I just today downloaded the latest software to my AppleTV A1469, and I upgraded my iPad to 15.1. I haven’t tried video, but ApplePlay is working great for audio. I hope this helps.

No problem doing AirPlay from my IPhone13 either - it’s on15.0.2.

If your iPhone Apple ID is the same as your Apple TV. Then disable localisation on your iPhone, restore your Apple TV with the latest update. Then re enter your Apple ID in your Apple TV for activation.

Hello I have the same problem iPhone 12 with iOS 15.1 and I have the Apple TV 3rd gen. What do you mean you activate Apple TV ?

Well problem solved with simply activate my Apple TV after unable localisation from my iPhone. Easy-Peasy ;)
