The app “Find my” is not working. It says “Data is turned off” while its really on.

Id lost my AirPods and remembered that I can you the app “Find my” to find it. I open the app and it says “data is turned off” which mean I’m offline in this app and can’t use it at all. I open my setting and see that everything on! I tried different variants in settings, nothing helped.

It seems you are having trouble using the Find My app to locate your misplaced AirPods. When opening the Find My app, it says your mobile data is turned off even though it's on.


We do notice your Personal Hotspot is 'On'. Can you turn that off and then test to see if the Find My app works? If the same issue continues, can you disconnect from your Wi-Fi network, (and any VPN if applicable), then try accessing the app using just your cellular data services?
