Unable to use my Brother QL-800 label printer after upgrade - any suggestions?

I downloaded Monterey and now my Brother QL-800 label printer won't work. I have downloaded the full software package from Brother but no success. Has anyone else had the same problem and been able to fix it?

I am sorry you are having printer problems. If you will bear with me, I will offer some things to consider. Whenever we install an operating system upgrade or some OS updates, printers and scanners will often stop working. Then a new OS compliant printer software must be installed. Experience has shown that many printer manufacturers are very slow to provide updated drivers. Did you confirm that the driver you downloaded was said to be fully compliant with Monterey? I would go back to your printer provider and get their help. Drivers for some older printers are never provided. What we can do is to thoroughly check the printer web site for an updated driver that works. If one is not available, then we should ask when one will be released. If that doesn't work, if the Printer has the Air Print feature, that can be used and no driver will be needed. If not, then you can check the respected web site below where volunteers write free drivers for older printers which are no longer supported, but which work with newer operating systems. It is worth checking out. Good luck.

I have the same issue new mac, Monterey with brother QL-810W label printer. P-touch app does not launch anymore and just crashes. Went on tech support and they couldn't figure it out at Brother. Deleted and reinsatalled everything. P-touch software still does not work. Downloaded from app store does not work. It does print using Mac Pages but the quality is horrible compared to the P-touch app.
