magic keyboard with finger print scanner

I was logging into my Mac and the finger print scanner wasn't working so I used the one on my MacBook, tried disconnecting it from Bluetooth after that point I couldn't turn it find it to re connect it, so plugged it into my Mac nothing happened at all, I don't believe its even on as the caps lock led won't work at all, I've tried turning it on and off many times tried different cables and ports and tested it in my Magic Trackpad and that worked no problem and restarting my MacBook and still have no response from my keyboard
