Factory reset all Apple-connected devices missing in Monterey (Bluetooth debug)

My apple wireless keyboard (and sometimes also wireless touchpad) tend to get laggy.

Solution has been to go to the advanced bluetooth menu via "shift-option-bluetoothicon", and "debug bluetooth > reset the bluetooth module" and/or "> factory reset all Apple-connected devices".

The debugging options have gone missing from the bluetooth menu in Monterey!

There's a terminal workaround to reset the bluetooth module "sudo pkill bluetoothd", but that isn't fixing my keyboard lag. Does anyone know of a workaround to factory reset all apple-connected devices?

Thanks

I'm having the same issue—not being able to factory reset all connected devices to correct the lag that I get with my wireless keyboard (as you note this isn't corrected with resetting the computer's Bluetooth module). This used to be easy when the options were available via the drop down from the Bluetooth icon before updating to Monterey. A workaround I found is to connect my keyboard to another laptop that's still running Big Sur and reset the device there, then it's resolved for whichever laptop I connect it to, but that's hardly efficient or an option unless you have another laptop around. Hopefully an update for Monterey will address this error soon!

"Reset the Bluetooth Module":

Seems you are referring to "Reset the Bluetooth Module". Is that correct? If so, see here: Any Alternative Methods for "Reset the Bluetooth Module"? - Apple Community?. In that post, I mention what I have try doing to reset it. As I come across more solutions, I plan to post. In there, I mention my user tip, I authored back in April, which is was when Big Sur was in use. See Here: Use "Reset the Bluetooth module" to Fix Constant Bluetooth Disconnections - User Tip

Um...no. Like I said in my initial query, there is a "reset the bluetooth module" workaround via Terminal "sudo pkill bluetoothd", but that is *not* the fix I'm looking for.

In the advanced bluetooth menu, there were two debug options: "reset the bluetooth module" and "factory reset all Apple-connected devices."

It's the factory reset option that works for my keyboard lagging problem, so that's the one I'm looking for.
