"recent" icon on contact details showing the actual email used

I noticed I am no longer able to see the actual e-mail used for the sender of e-mails I receive. Previously, there would be a "Recent" icon that would be next the actual e-mail address used by the sender. This is problematic when a contact has multiple e-mail addresses. When you click on the person's name from the e-mail, it brings you to their contact details, but the "Recent" icon doesn't appear by any of the e-mail addresses in the contact details. Was this an oversight in the most recent iOS update, or am I missing something?

Hi Michael Jewett,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with identifying which email a sender used on an email you received. We'd like to help.

Which iOS are you currently running? Does this happen with all contacts or just one specific one? If you choose to Reply to the email, are you able to see which email was used then?

Let us know and we'll continue working with you on this.

Cheers!
