I continue to receive the error message "Unable to submit to queue". when I try to compress a FCP project. I am running a new Powerbook M-1 with Big Sur I have tried every fix suggested on discussion pages but have yet to be able to start a compression. What's up? I've wasted $50. What am I overlooking?

Make sure the application has Full Disk Access is Privacy System Preferences.
In Final Cut Pro, press CMD+ E to export Master File.
Simply drag the Master File into Compressor.
Apply your export options and it should work.
DId it. I have restarted, run compressor repair, tried other media types. Removed preference files from the library as suggested. The only thing I noticed is that I have no qmaster on this computer. Is it necessary to run Compressor? I have FCPx 10.6 and compressor 4.6. RUnning on a 2020 Mac M-1.
