AirPod Pro - No Sound on iPhone 12 iOS 15.1

After locking my phone and unlocking it while streaming a movie my AirPods stopped working. I did the normal things, make sure my AirPods are selected, reset the AirPods, reset the phone, remove the AirPods from bluetooth and re-add. Still no audio. But the AirPods work fine connected to my other Apple devices, wife's phone, kids iPads, etc. So I switched AirPods with my wife and hers worked on my phone. I used those for about 2 days before the same thing happened on those AirPods. This has to be an issue with the phone and not AirPods. So I reset all settings, still nothing. Finally deleted all data. Still nothing. What can I do to get these AirPods working again? (iOS is on current latest 15.1) Thanks.
