Apple Music displays wrong album artwork

I just imported my old iTunes library into a new Mac OS Monterey machine. basically none of the artwork appeared. I clicked File > Library > Get album artwork, it it fetched some correctly but a) many were not found (even though my iTunes library has them) and b) wrong album art was used repeatedly.

how can I fix this?

But when I switch to a library on an iTunes Server (running on Synology NAS) - I get the music but no artwork. Every single music file has had the artwork manually added to the file (a very long process to accomplish.) The music library is about 1TB so I'm not interested in "re-importing" what is already there - given that the music albums display using the iTunes server - just the artwork does not show. iTunes Store purchases no longer come with album art in Catalina?! So I just upgraded to Catalina recently. Tonight I bought 3 tracks from the iTunes Store in the Music app, and none of them came with album artwork! I tried using "Get album art", with no results. I have to manually Google album art to apply it to all my purchases from now on?? What in the world is going on at Apple? I could understand some hiccups in the iTunes -> Music transition, but we're a year in at this point. This is ridiculous. I tried Doug's scripts, and they didn't work. It truly seems like the downloads just simply don't include the artwork. Has anybody found a solution for this?

Music library transfer & album artwork Hello, I imported my music library from my old macbook using itunes to my new macbook using the "music app". The import went well and the itl file from itunes could be used with the "music app". The issue is that album artworks are not showing in Music. Actually they are showing in the minimized picture on the right hand side of the play button, but none of the artwork is showing while browsing the app. The mp3 files are also displaying the artwork, so it seems the data is there somewhere but "music app" cant see it. Is there any way to get music app to show album artworks properly ? Thanks
