How to make apps work in Monterey?

All my apps that worked just fine yesterday have suddenly become a major threat overnight when I installed Monterey. How can I get an "open me anyway" fix that will apply to nearly everything?

Your upgrade from Mojave to Monterey has deprecated many applications. macOS 10.14 is the last system version supporting 32-bit applications.

See: 32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later - Apple Support

If most of your applications, device drivers, videos, images are not compatible with a 64-bit only system version, and you cannot upgrade the apps and device drivers to compatible versions, because the manufacturer is not offering any updates, revert your system back to Mojave. I hope you made a full backup before upgrading to the new system version.

Then decide, if the Monterey upgrade is worth it for you. Make an inventory of the applications, that need upgrading. Check for replacements. You may need to convert older videos to a more compatible format as well. (About legacy media in iMovie for macOS - Apple Support)
