how to change the download icon on menu bar on Mac

After I lost the icon?, found it back, but where do I find the setting to get it into a fan again Imac?

Appreciate help

Found the solution... on iMac, hold control and click on the download stack to get the menu and choose fan

Download icon Before a recent upgrade on my iMac (Big Sur 11.2.1, I'm sure there was a download icon in the menu bar that was permanently accessible. Not it seems to be there only when something is actively downloading. Also there was a very handy downloads icon in the dock which fanned out the downloads in date order. That seems to have disappeared being replaced by a full matrix of all downloads, so it's all but impossible to find stuff. Any guidance? Plse keep it simple....tech and the language of tech is a mystery to me!

delete an icon from menu bar; ⌘ - drag does not work This concerns the Deepl translator desktop app. I cannot contact them unless I become a paying subscriber and I do not want to do that, so I am hoping someone here can advise me. I tried the Deepl translator desktop app. I don't want it any more. When I quit it, and try to delete it from the App Folder, I get an alert saying it is open and can't be deleted. I thought maybe it had something to do with the menu bar icon it placed at the top of the screen so I tried to delete that by ⌘- dragging it off. But the no-can-do circle with the diagonal bar appears on it and it snaps back to the bar. Any idea how I can delete the app and/or get rid of the menu bar icon. late 2015 iMac running 10.13.6.
