apple tv 3 free month trial

I recently purchased an iMac which arrived on september. I now would like to sign up to the free 3 month Apple TV trial, and it show me just the 7 days trial. how do I get the 3 months?

iMac 24″, macOS 11.6

For Macs, remember to first sign in to the TV app (menu Account). Then the redeem button “Enjoy 3 Months Free” should load for the eligible account.
