Music library gone

My music library has disappeared from my Mac. I've tried everything and don't know what to do.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

Music Library.musiclibrary appears on Desktop For some odd reason whenever I run Music it creates a copy of Music Library.musiclibrary on my desktop. If I delete it, it reappears. The Music Media folder location in Music>Preferences>Files is in my home folder, along with the 'original' Music Library.musiclibrary. Music.app otherwise works OK, so more an irritation than a problem. Any ideas? MacBookPro 16in M1; OS 12.3.1; Music 1.2.3.56

Music library gone Hi, I just updated Catalina OS to 10.15.2 and just went to listen to my music on my iMac and it is now gone... My entire library... Any suggestions?

more Big Sure Music issues Library is empty After apple taking away the drag and drop feature out of Music, I now have the issue that I can open my Library but will only see my songs under my playlists the standard Library Recently Added, Artists, Albums and Songs is empty. My personal playlists show the songs and I can play them. The correct file location for all songs is also set in preferences and the songs can be found in the finder. So far I spend a day Trouble Shooting this buggy Mac Big Sur downgrade.
