For All Mankind picture scrambled starting in episode 7

On my 55 inch Roku 4k TV, after about 30 seconds of playing normally, the picture gets a sort of digitally scrambled look with audio and subtitles working, but it becomes unwatchable. Stopping it then restarting fixes it for about 20-30 fs, then out resumes. Does not happen on other programs I've watched on Apple TV, or on other Roku streaming devices, both sticks and an Ultra. Also doesn't seem to happen on episodes 1-6, but 7 and 8, so far, are affected.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We understand your concern with the picture quality of this series. We're happy to assist you with this.

Let's start with the basics and quit the Apple TV app. Turn off the tv and then turn it back on.

Make sure there are no updates for the tv, the Roku and Apple TV app.

You can also connect the Roku to a different tv to see if the same thing occurs.

Hi Matthew.

Did the above 2 items. Even pulled power cord to the TV, waited 5 minutes, then tried again.

As for the third item, it's a TCL Roku 4k TV with HdR, it's built in, so no trying it on my other televisions.

It's also the only one I capable of 4k, and the only one with HDR.
