My apple watch series 6 is detecting my motorcycle ride as bicycle workout whenever I’m heading out, I didn’t find any articles regarding this particular issue. I’ve got my watch few weeks ago only.

Hello Akshay_02,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. Congratulations on your new Apple Watch. It sounds like you're unexpectedly seeing a Cycling workout, and we're here to lend a hand.

As it turns out, Cycling is one of the available workouts you can use with your Apple Watch. However, if you choose to start a workout while riding, you can select "Other," instead. Check this out to learn more:

If needed, you can also calibrate your Apple Watch to improve activity. Here's how:

If we've misunderstood your question, you might consider providing more information about what you’re experiencing. Including the following details in your post may be helpful:

  • Is something happening with your Apple Watch that is preventing you from using it as expected? If so, what happens? For instance, if you receive an error message, what does it say?
  • What's the installed watchOS and iOS versions you're using when this happens?
  • Are you able to reproduce the issue? What actions do you take to reproduce it?

The more information you provide, the better chance the community will be able to offer some additional guidance.

Have a great day!
