Sound Volume Lower Since Upgrading To OSX Monterey

Before upgrading to OSX Monterey, I had the volume on my iMac set on 1 bar, iTunes set at 50% and on my blueray connected soundbar set at 90%, since upgrading to Monterey, I now have the iMac set at 3 bars, iTunes set at full and the sounder set at 100% to achieve the same volume level as before which was comfortable.

I have checked the sound in System Preferences and uninstalled the blueray soundbar and set it back up again, yet there is no change in the volume level.

If this is an Intel Mac you can try both—

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)

if no resolve—Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
