iTunes Authorization issues

I've removed older unused devices from my authorized list and now only have 2 devices on the list. When attempting to add the new laptop, it fails. Why is it doing that?

I currently have 4 devices authorized as shown in my account. I am now trying , repeatedly, to add my PC Dell XPS and I get a pop up stating that I already have 5 devices authorized. I have tried many times to authorize my PC, Any solutions ? I currently have 4 authorized devices as shown in my account summary. I am trying to add my Dell XPS ("Contentus") laptop to iTunes. It states that I already have 5 devices. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried many times to add my XPS. Thanks.

iTunes account Device Authorizations iTunes will not allow me to authorize my new McBook Pro. It keeps replying that I can only have five devices on my account. I currently only have four devices on my account. All software is updated and still same response.

Authorizing a Computer..... I de-authorized two other computers from my iTunes account. I am now trying to authorize the computer I want to add. However, after attempting to do so, I still am getting an error message telling me that I already have the maximum 5 devices associated with my account. But I do NOT.... Help?

See Authorization vs. association - Apple Community. At a guess you have removed associations, not authorizations.
