Photos usage size on iCloud Storage and IPhone Storage different

Hey guys,

I have a 200gb iCloud storage.

Photos on my iPhone storage shows 106.15GB, but iCloud shows 91.9GB.

There’s a 15gb gap and I don’t think it’s app size.

any idea?

thanks in advance!

I wouldn't worry about the library size as much as the quantity. Check that the number of pictures and videos match in both locations.

Go to iCloud.com/photos

Count and iCloud status are at the bottom of your library

On your phone

Open photos

Tap Library

scroll to the bottom.

You'll see the count and iCloud status
