Is what Verizon told my girlfriend, that only Apple can brick her stolen iPhone?
Apple does not take reports of stolen or lost phones.

If you had find my activated, the phone should be activation locked.

My girlfriend had her iPhone stolen, while vacationing in Mexico. She called verizon and they told her that they could not brick the phone, only apple could do that. Is this true
