I signed in, I signed up for free trial, and I keep getting booted back to the sign in screen. What's wrong?

Can't get apple+ set up on my tv. I keep getting kicked back to the sign in screen and I have gone through this twice

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! From our understanding, you are running into an issue when trying to sign into the Apple TV app on your Smart TV, is that right? We see that you are coming from this article: Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV, streaming device, or game console, so we can assume you are running the latest version of the Apple TV app, is that right? Are you able to sign into the Apple ID you are using for the Apple TV on the Apple ID website to confirm you are using the correct password?


Have you tried starting the router or connected to a different network?


You can try resetting the Apple TV app to see if that helps as well: Reset the Apple TV app.
