Tried to enter and put password instead of ID. How do I go back to put correct info?

In ⚙️Settings, you can choose to Reset the app.

Reset the Apple TV app - Apple Support

That will remove any customization, including account information.

Every other app works fine using QR code to login. Unable to log into my Apple TV (2nd generation) I'm having a problem logging into my old (2nd gen), I had to set-up a new Apple account so I have a new user name and password, I have done a factory reset to clear the old user details. But when I try to log-in with my new user name and password it doesn't recognise them, even though I can log-in to my Apple account on my PC with the new user name and password. Any help would be appreciated. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

apple tv 3d gen will not accept new password I am trying to enter my user name and password in my apple TV 3d gen. Every time it says, Password or user name incorrect. I have unlocked my account and reset the password. what do I do now?
