Is anyone else getting a hissing/static noise during transparency mode? Seems to be only in the left ear bud for me. Its very prevalent during transparency mode, but it can be heard during noise cancellation mode albeit a little less.
Some background noise is normal in Transparency mode because the AirPods pick up and retransmit ambient sounds. In Noise Cancelling mode it should sound pretty quiet unless one of the ear tips is not fitting week and external sound is leaking in. Try the Ear Fit test and confirm both tips have a good seal.
I have the same issue. I have both Airpods pro and this beats fit pro. Compared to the Pro, beats fit pro has lots of louder white/background noise on transparency mode. Also it catches a lot more wind noise at outdoor.
Hope the firmware can fix this.
