Will my Oticon Connect Clippair with Apple Watch 7

I wear Oticon Opn hearing aids and use the Connect Clip. According to the Apple website the Connect Clip will work with all versions of Apple watches except for the version 7, which happens to be the version I would like to purchase. Will there be an update in the near future to allow the pairing of these two devices?
