Song not available in my country or region?

I own an old CD album that I purchased many years ago which I downloaded to my iPhone from Apple Music. Apple Music now says that the of the songs on the CD is not currently available in my country or region. I had previously digitized the entire CD, including the missing song, and it was in my music library before I signed up for Apple Music. Now the song is greyed out in my playlists on my iPhone, but it appears and plays on my Music app on my MacBook Pro. How do I add this missing song back to my iPhone library? Sync Library is checked on my Music App Preferences.

As you’ve found out, Apple Music and private ripped collections no longer live together well. IMO it’s best to keep them separate i.e. use a 3rd party app like File Explorer to listen to private collections, and use Apple Music exclusively for subscription listening. If you no longer have a copy of your digitized CD, you’ll need to rip it again - be sure to use a non-Apple 3rd party app for that.
