Siri Australian voice distortion

I've recently noticed that the Siri female Australian voice has developed distortions in certain voice responses, for instance, when responding to my request to send a text message. Everything sounds normal until she asks if I'm ready to send the text, then it sounds garbled. I've tried other voices and they're fine, but when I switch back to Australian female, it's still distorted in spots. And it happens on both my iPhone and iPad. Any suggestions?
