What happened to Command L?

Back in iTunes, if you hit Command-L it would show you where the currently playing song was in your library. Now, command+L jumps to the album where the song is from. Is it still possible to show where the currently playing song is in my library?

Hey there, mcbrewster.

It appears that when you press the keyboard shortcut Command-L in the Music app, it takes you where the album is from. From the following article, Command-L should still show where the current playing song is in the list: Keyboard shortcuts in Music on Mac - Apple Support

Does this continue if you quit the Music app and restart your MacBook Air? Restarting can seem like a simple step, but it can sometimes resolve issues. Also, does this happen in a temporary new test user? Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac A test user doesn't have any changed or custom settings, so this can show if the issue is only happening in your user or any user on your MacBook Air.

Best wishes.

Well Command-L does take you to the song playing, it just jumps out of the library and onto the album listing.

If you're listening to a playlist and hit command-L it will jump to the song currently playing on there, but if you're just playing music from your main library it will jump to the album that the song you're playing is on.
