How to change my already optimized photos to originals on my MacBook Pro
I have my Photo Library in optimized mode and need to change them all to originals. I have iCloud storage. How do I do this?

Thank you! I had done that just before posting the question. I found that it didn't change the number of megabytes or kilobytes each photo had.
I thought that downloading the originals would make each file larger and therefore take up more room on the MB. Is this the case?
It should -- if they weren’t already original size.
Just because the Optimize option is on doesn't mean any or all of the photos are optimized (reduced in size). If enough space is available on the local storage they may not be optimized.
Open the Photos app, click Preferences on the menu named "Photos", click "iCloud" at the top of the Preferences window, click "Download Originals to this Mac."
