Problem with spacebar on Adobe programs MAC PRO

i just bought a macbook pro 16" and downloaded all the adobe programas i had on my old computer. The problem is, everytime i want to "space" when im typing (so giving tbe space after each word) it pop ups a message saying if I want to save my work or just leave the software. It’s like Adobe program doesn’t recognize the space bar function on my keyboard because if I use it in other programs like Notes, internet, word,…it works! What should I do?
