workout announce stops music and podcasts from playing (sometimes)

In the workout app n the iWatch I now hear the announce when I hit a mileage or exercise goal, however (sometimes) the music and/or podcasts stop from playing

iOS pausing music during workouts I upgraded to iOS 15.3.1 on my iPhone 11 recently, and now the music (via Spotify) pauses every single time my workout app (Hevy) plays an audio cue. This is super annoying, and all the resources I've found so far give solutions that involve Apple Watch - which I do not own. I've tried disabling notifications in Hevy, but they still trigger when the app is open (which it is during workouts).

Can’t listen to Spotify whiteout phone or EarPod case nearby Why can’t I listen on my apple watch whiteout my phone or earpodcase because when I start running Spotify connects fine with my Apple Watch but when I am further it doesn’t connect anymore why is this?

It should just pause your music not stop it.

You can turn that off.

From your iPhone>Watch>Workout>Voice Feedback>Toggle this off
