Hi,
I bought new mac book pro 1 year before, suddenly my touch bar is not showing any thing and i try to troubleshoot with below commands using Terminal
killall Control Strip
sudo pkill TouchBarServer - Getting this error in terminal
"No matching processes belonging to you were found"
After that i updated my macOS to Monterey 12.0.1, Touch bar is working fine, On next day onwards my touchbar not working
These terminal commands are limited in scope and do not register on all MBP model years.
The best you can do on an Intel Mac —
Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
Even though SMC controls the touchbar, some USB is in play, so this would be NVRAM
Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
If no resolve you have hardware issue which can requires service:
