Hello everyone,
I just got the new AppleTV 4K and it's up and running. I set it up as a Home Hub and it's connected,
however, the HomeKit icon does not show up in the Control Center. How can I get the icon to show? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You may need one or more HomeKit accessories that have functionality through the Apple TV Control Center, via automations, ‘scenes’, or other supported functionality. Then the icon would show.

Thank you for the tip. My Homekit bulbs arrive tomorrow so I will try that.
Create scenes i had the same issue and after adding new scenes the icon appeared again but no control of individual devices, only scenes
