How to stop my Apple Watch Series 4 from automatically playing audio

I followed the instructions on this thread, but I don't even have a "wake up" option under the General tab in my settings - I listen to lots of audio books and this makes my watch battery quickly run down. Is there anything else I can do?

Watch When I am listening to audible, my Apple Watch is running with audible. How do I change that or block audible from my watch? I listen to audible for several hours, and it seems to drain the battery on the watch.

Settings/display and brightness and turn off auto-launch audio apps.
