Maps app on Desktop devices

Hello all! In BigSur 11.6.1 I no longer can copy address from any place in the Apple Apps Map App (I still can on my mobile devices) It's very hard to plan calendar events with locations in them. So you can't copy on a right clock, or by holding long time. Attaching an example to what area was available to copy before and no longer available for me to copy.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.0

I don't have anything older than Big Sur handy that I could check, but I don't see any change in behaviour. You can drag the address to copy it to another app. You can also click and hold on it which will display a "copy" button that you can click on. I checked this in Big Sur and Monterey.

Hi tsiban,

We see you're unable to right click or highlight an address in Apple Maps.

This does appear to be by design, however you can click and drag the address into a different app. For example if you need the address for an email, you can click and drag from the Maps app to the Mail app, or Notes, etc.

If you'd like to see this tweaked, we'd recommend leaving feedback for Apple below.

Take care.
