Family Setup apparently not compatible with Verizon, per our given support.
We got two Apple Watch 7 45mm watches. They were paired with one of our Verizon iPhone12ProMax phones under the Family Setup option (setup for a relative). They are successful in the pairing processes, configurations, and show the Verizon cell service. However, they do not make/take phone calls with their phone numbers assigned by their Verizon service plans (IMEIs registered and services activated with Verizon). The same issue applies to their texting ability. We worked with the local Verizon stores and their national call centers, but the function remains non-existent after many resets, re-pairing, and reactivations.
