I have MANY Photos directories created under Monterey that are NOT accessable under Photos Catalina. How do I get access to Monterey Photos files under Photos Catalina

By Directories do you mean Libraries? An early version of Photos cannot open a library converted to a later version. Or, in other words, a Catalina version of Photos cannot open a Monterey Photos Library.
