Slow internet speed when upgraded to MacOS Monterey

When I upgraded to Monterey my internet speed on my mac slowed down to an awful 2Mb/s based on https://www.speedtest.net/ readings. On any other devices the internet speed was fine except for my mac.

Mac Mini internet speeds faster than M1 Mac Studio (both ethernet and WiFi) I've been running speed tests on my M1 Mac Studio (64 GB memory and 4TB ssd) and my Mac Mini (late 2014) and there is a significant difference in download speeds both with WiFi and Ethernet. Mac Mini download speeds: WiFi - 239Mbps; Ethernet 239 Mbps (little variability from test to test) M1 Mac Studio download speeds: Wifi - 160 to 211 Mbps; Ethernet - 60 to 88 Mbps (speeds vary significantly from test to test) Even more surprising is the fact that WiFi downloads are more than twice as fast as ethernet! This has been the situation ever since I received my Mac Studio in August. I have done a clean install of Ventura and I am using Cat 7 ethernet cables with no improvement. I believe there is something wrong with the M1 Macs that Apple needs to fix.

Slow internet on iMac using Chrome My iMac's internet speed is lower than any of my other devices. It's connected directly to the modem/router and I'm using Chrome as my browser. The download speed fluctuates, but usually it's anywhere between 50 and 100 Mbps. It doesn't matter if I switch to wifi because the speed's pretty much the same, maybe a little less. All of my other devices (MacBook Pro, iPads, iPhones, etc.) are on wifi and Chrome and are getting speeds of 275 Mbps (MacBook Pro), 350 Mbps (iPhones), etc. However, if I switch my iMac to Safari I'm getting speeds of 350+ Mbps. Why is my iMac so slow on Chrome while everything else is so much higher?

Commercial VPNs should only be used if Mandated by Corporate Head Office for working remotely. Otherwise - ones Privacy and Security touted by the VPN is suspect.

AntiVirus Software should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS. There are no known Windows-like Viruses in the wild that self replicate and affect macOS because of the underling UNIX Foundation and Permission Limitation.
