Since upgrading to MacOS Monterey, interactive website images are now blank, some with blue question marks.

Upgraded to MacOS Monterey and now have blank spaces where images should be, sometimes showing a blue question mark. The problem is where I am looking at interactive images - e.g. changing fabric colours on furniture. Also, in Ikea Kitchen Planner the items are now blank, although I can see an outline of an image if I click the blank area. On other sites, choosing different colours of sofa fabric results in white space with a blue question mark where the image should be. I am using Safari. Has anyone else had this issue and knows how to resolve it? Thank you.

Hey MontyMS13,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! We understand you're having an issue where images won't load on some websites on your Mac since upgrading to macOS Monterey. We'd like to help.

You mentioned this happens not only on the Ikea Kitchen Planner site, but other websites as well. Have you tested these webpages via a different web browser outside of Safari? If not, try that.

We also recommend trying the steps here: If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected

Best regards.
