iPhone 11 Pro Max. Ear speaker volume is too low.

I updated my iPhone 15.1. Still my ear speaker volume is low and barely hear to phone calls

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. Being able to hear while on calls is definitely important. We see you've already checked out a great resource that should help If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker.


Did you already cover all of the steps in that link? This step in particular might be helpful:


"Clean your receivers and speakers

Remove all screen protectors, films, or cases from your device. Check the speaker opening to see if it's blocked or dirty. On iPhone only, make sure that the receiver is not blocked or dirty. If necessary, clean the speaker or receiver opening with a small, soft-bristled brush. Make sure that the brush is clean and dry."


If that doesn't help, there might be a few other things to consider. Are you finding the issue only affects volume while on calls, or does it affect other apps as well? You might test Music, for example.
