Cannot login or reset password on new MacBook Pro

Cannot login or reset password on new MacBook Pro. I just through all the setup prompts I added a password I wrote it down and it won’t let me login when I try to reset the password using my appleID it tells me there are no users setup.

Macbook no password but can't login Hi guys, my MacBook local account doesn't have any password but when I press enter during lock screen it didn't allow and behaves as the wrong password entered. Can't login to my MacBook I tried changing the password and username in my laptop and logged out. Now when I try to login it asks not only for the password but also for the username. I used both new and previous usernames and passwords but still couldn't do anything.
