iPhone 7 SE

So she had an iPhone 5, but straight talk says they arent going to support it anymore, and the phone is messing up so badly, and my grandma needs a phone. So anyways, my grandma just got my sisters old phone which is an IPhone 7, idk if an SE exists for that, but it might be that too. It was purchased from Walmart over a year ago. But anyway so we connected it to iTunes on a computer, I even deleted and reinstalled it so that it would be at the newest version, and anyways it is still saying the same thing. So we tried to put my SIM card in and it said something different for a second it might take a few seconds for this iPhone to activate, and it stayed like that for a moment after the updates finally completed on the iTunes software. And I thought maybe I need to go ahead and activate the bring your own phone SIM card on straight talk with my grandmas current service switched over to it, but I don’t wanna have to switch it all over, just for it to not work, you know? It’s been 2 weeks of me trying stuff over & over, with no end results. My grandma just really super needs this, and if you guys think I need to do the SIM card, I will. But I don’t want to do it for no reason and mess up her current already service that is working for now, even though the screens popping out and everything else. If anyone can just tell me what to do for almost certain, I will do it. Please and thank you….
