my watch is stuck on temperature setting.

The watch hasn't been exposed to high temperatures. This got stuck when charging it so i guess that could have done it but it didn't appear hot. I have let it "cool down" but it is still stuck on temp. It will not reset. Any other ideas?

Not a helpful article as it doesn't say what to do when it is frozen on the red thermometer display. The watch is not hot nor was the temperature in my air-conditioned house. It has had plenty of time to cool down if it got hot on the charger. Anyone else having the same issue?

Contact Apple Support with the following link. Use the Watch app on your iPhone to get the serial number for the Watch (General > About > Serial number). Tap the serial number and hold your finger on it until “Copy” appears. This will allow you to paste the serial number into the appropriate field on the following page.

I followed up with apple last night about this and they were helpful. For others that run into this same issue the watch has to be sent in for repair. It costs $159 which is a bummer given the watch is only 2 years old and was never exposed to high heat temperatures. The temperature setting triggered while on my apple charger which could have been the source but this was never a problem before and it was only on the charger for one hour.

my watch is stuck on temperature setting.
