Spell Check doesn't work in Mail or Word on my MacBook Air using Big Sur. 11.5.2. I've tried all the fixes suggested on this site and none of them worked. Has anyone found a solution? Or do I have to upgrade to Monterey and hope they have fixed this bug?

May what to consider updating Big Sur to version 11.6.1 the latest version available as if has bug and security fixes.
I was online with Apple Chat support and tried everything they had to suggest. Finally, they said maybe it had been fixed in OS Monterey. I'm updating to OS 11.6 to see if that takes care of it before I go to the new OS Monterey. I'll let you know if it does. Thanks for your interest.
